Tales of a Teenager

Heya!
Welcome to 'Tales of a Teenager'.
It's just my own little blog that I've started. I like blogging, although i'm relatively new to it. I can just go on and on about a lot of random stuff (and believe me, I do!) and some people actually like to read it! Anyway, this blog is the tales of a teenager, a.k.a. me.
Oh, I really should introduce myself. Clever, forgetting that... I'm Jemma, i'm 15, and I live in the UK. Won't go into details for obvious reasons. I like reading, Harry Potter, watching movies, Harry Potter, going crazy on a regular basis, Harry Potter, the internet (forums, blogging, etc.), Harry Potter, MiPod (music + podcasts), Harry Potter, Guiding, Harry Potter and ummm... I can't think of anything else. I'm completely obsessed with Harry Potter. Incase you haven't figured that out. Which you probably have.
Anyway, since this blog is about me I should tell you a bit more about me, I guess. Well, I'm half Canadian, half English. I live in the UK and visit Canada for 3 weeks every year and a half. I love Canada. I'm going this summer. I'm coming back via New York too, which will be awesome as i've never been there before. Almost all my family lives in Canada. I have one set of grandparents, an Uncle and a Great Uncle in the UK - all on my Mum's side of the family. I have zillions of relatives in Canada, I haven't met half of them. We have ridiculously large gatherings of hundreds of people there sometimes.
Moving on, what else should I talk about. Myself. But what about myself? Yes, I do talk to myself. I'm not at the moment really, I'm typing to myself as my brother's watching TV and gets really annoyed if I put any volume on the computer or talk or anything. Oh, my immediate family. I should have said something about them before my distant family. Oh well, here goes. I have a mum and dad and one younger brother who's 12, one and a half years younger than me. He's 13 in May. I'm not 16 'til November. I'm one of the oldest in my year actually. Only two of my friends are older than me. The rest are all younger. About 5 of them have birthdays in the next two monthes actually. This is such a crowded time for birthdays. I have no time to buy presents. Just giving money out really at the moment. Their fault for being born too close together. Wait, i'll count how many of them have birthdays coming up. One...two...three...four...five...six...seven, yes. Seven of them in March and April. This is when I like being the only Birthday in November. It's all about me, no planning for other parties or anything, it's only me. It's weird in our group, One birthday a month usually. One September, one October, one November (ME!!), None in December (we have xmas though), one in January, one in February, three in March, four in April, none in May (though I do have family + my boyfriends birthdays then), one in June, none in July and one in August. Well, a calender of events there. I'm sure you didn't want to know that, but there you go. Oh, I didn't mention my boyfriend did I? Well, he's younger than me by about half a year. Endless teasing for that. But to be honest, he's in my school year and not many boys are older than me. Actually a few are, but not many. He's taller than me, so it's not that bad. Anyway we've been dating for nearly 9 months now. I really like him, but he clashes with a couple of my friends. The outspoken ones, so it's hard to avoid them argueing. But then a couple of people decided that it was because they loved each other so there was tension or something. Then they both started annoying that person. Quite ironic really. Say that, they unite. They were only joking...well, they better have been!
Hhhhmmm, I need something else to talk about... Oooh, I know, my upcoming Canada trip. Yes, it's all about me. It's my blog, what do you expect? I'm going to Canada this summer, as I've already said. I'm visiting London, Ottowa, and a place about 6hours north of London. In Ontario, for those who don't know. London first with my dad's immediate family for a couple of days, then a week in the Cottage which is what's about 6hours north of London. It's not the middle of nowhere, but I have no idea where it is. Near Port Loring or something like that, I think. Don't quote me on that though. Oh I don't know... Then to Ottawa for another week. Family friends, my Mum's Brother and family, and yeah. We have some great friends there, who me and Oliver get on with. Also, some more family friends who live in Winnipeg, Manatoba often fly over. So it's our family, and two other families. We all get on. The Winnipegians have one boy who's a month older than me, and the Ottawians have a boy who's the year between me and my brother, a girl a year younger than my brother, but acts like a year older and a girl who's a few years younger, and we didn't see her much last time so I can't remember what she's like that well. It was funny, as every single time Mum says "We might not go to Canada next time." but each time we do. Anyway, this time Mum AND Dad said that, so I was a bit worried, as I love going, so I spoke to the Ottawian boy on MSN. Anyway, he told his parents and his sisters . Then, his mum phoned my mum and was going on about how the children loved us, and even the youngest wanted to see us again! She couldn't say no. That helped ensure our trip.
And we're going to NY!! New York!! The Big Apple!! I'm soooooo excited! My brother didn't want to go at first. But we have managed to change his mind. It will be AWESOME!! Shopping, a game-testing place or something, sight-seeing and lots more!! I want to go to Abercrombie and Fitch, just for the sake of it. There's a guy in my class who is obsessed with the USA, mainly LA and NY, and he is soo jealous. He's a bit feminine, and brings in Abercrombie and Fitch bags, with "stuff for his friends" but mainly to show off. Because he's just like that.
I think this blog is going on a bit, so I better just shut up now.
See ya! (Or not! :P)
